Well, all of that happened this week and I’m excited to be looking for an Event Project Director for said client 12

So, what do they do?

  • They work with automotive brands delivering world class experiential activations & events across the UK
  • Their activations span the likes of Goodwood, Hampton Court, Shopping Centres, and National Trade Shows (to name a few)
  • They also deliver events at a dedicated media centre for press and senior stakeholders and leaders

Who do they need?

This role really does encompass a rounded skillset and will need someone with gravitas and experience who can listen, trust their team to deliver and be the clients right hand.

The role is split in to 4 clear segments outlined below:

  • Event Management – take on full accountability for an annual event programme looking at this in a strategic manner with a holistic approach. You’ll always have an eye on best practice and improvements that can be made.
  • Client Relationship managing the client relationship for a dedicated automotive account. Really getting under the skin of the brands you are working with and producing world class work that aligns with their vision.
  • People Management – Empower, develop and lead a team motivating them every step of the way. You’ll always have an eye on ensuring output is as perfect as can be and continuously strive to engage the team and improve process within the business.
  • Commercial Management – you’ll be responsible for an annual event budget keeping the client constantly in the loop and ensuring budgets are in line and constantly reviewed.

What do you need?

  • A proven track record within an agency environment working with automotive clients
  • Operational experience managing and developing teams
  • A commercial mindset who can manage an annual programme of events
  • To become a trusted partner to your clients living and breathing their brand and values
